Is it safe to pay online with my Card?

Yes. Safe online shopping starts with our internet guarantee. If it appears that your Card has been used to commit fraud, you get your money back. This means that if someone else misuses your credit card details, there is no risk for you at all. Of course, you are encouraged to only use your credit card on websites you trust.

What do I need to look out for when paying online with my Card?

• Check whether the web store accepts your credit card. To find out whether your Card is accepted, look out for the MasterCard logo.

• Your transaction should be verified using a three-digit code (CVC). You will find this code on the reverse side of your credit card, next to the signature strip.

• You can tell your data is being sent securely if you see "https" in the URL (the web address bar at the top of your screen), and if a padlock is displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen (Internet Explorer).

• It is a good sign if a Dutch web store displays the "Thuiswinkel Waarborg" logo. This is the quality label issued by Thuiswinkel.org.

How can I pay online using my Card?

Paying online with your Card? No problem. With 3D Secure (also known as Mastercard ID Check) you will be able to pay online with even greater security.
All you have to do is enter the following details while paying online with your Card:

1. Your credit card number (16 digits
2. The expiry date of your credit card.
3. The 3-digit code on the back of your credit card (CVC code).
4. Extra 3D Secure check: enter your 3D Secure password plus SMS code. You will receive this code in a text message, that ICS sends to your mobile phone. You can create your own personal 3D Secure password when paying online.

How does 3D Secure work?

Easy:

1. When you enter your credit card details while paying online, you will automatically be asked to enter your unique personal password and SMS code. This extra safety measure provides added security to protect your card from unauthorised use.
2. ICS will send you a code per text message to your mobile phone.
3. You can use your 3D Secure password for all your online payments.

Create or forgotten your 3D Secure password

As a Card-holder, you can create your 3D Secure password in My ICS Business. After logging in, click on 'Card Options' and then on '3D Secure Password'. You can also reset your password in My ICS Business if you have forgotten your password.

Don't feel like using a password anymore? The ICS Business App makes it as easy as possible for you. You can then approve your online transaction in the app.

You can activate My ICS Business and view your account statement online.

What is a CVC?

The Card Validation Code (CVC) is the three-digit code next to the signature strip on the reverse side of your credit card. This security code reduces the risk of fraud via postal order, telephone or internet transactions.
